App basically stopped working after update #95

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Update the app or uninstall and install fresh version of the app
2. Basically nothing works now. No GET or POST request works, just hangs 
indefinitely
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Just hangs

On what operating system?
MacOS 10.6.8

Please provide any additional information below.

Same for me. I did not even initiate an update, it seems it tries to update 
itself (I get a previously unseen progress bar with "Installing application" 
and a pacman animation, it stops half way and never finishes.
