I have my doubts about bitcoincharts which offer a weighted over 24 hour average. Not exactly data for a ticker.
The other two are a possibility thoug.
Yep, why I left it for last. May be some other exchange APIs, those two were the ones off the top of my head.
http://api.bitcoinaverage.com/ has an all-exchange weighted average but seems to update every 5 secs rather than 24 hours.
I would be very interested in a 24h average. And second Bitstamp.
I'm doing a bit of refactoring just now which should allow adding new exchanges and tickers slightly easier. If I am lucky I'll get something done tomorrow.
Otherwise this will have to wait for a week or so.
How are the alternate exchanges going? Can we expect something this week?
I guess this is not happening?
It just happened. - http://btcticker.appspot.com/btc-e/100.00usd.png
Basically you do a s/mtgox/btc-e/ and and it should work. Use it if it works for you
Thax a lot! Works even with EUR!
Overflow? Did you delete it?
No. I did not touch anything. The must be an issue with the currency converter I use
Anybody want to add Bitstamp to replace Gox, since Gox is ~20% of all legitimate exchanges?
Any thoughts on adding bitstamp? Also, looks like the btc-e link above no longer functions. I just now realized I have this on a couple blog posts but it's showing the mtgox price. I'd love to update it if possible. Thanks for doing this! It's a really helpful tool
Yes, Bitstamp and Bitpay Best Bid seem to be matching. https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates

If they had as much uptime as Gox's API, I would suggest adding these for what some might say are more realistic (non-liquidity crisis-influenced) fiat<>BTC rates.
