However, this is not sure but these things seem to be related to the already reported issue. Please update Self-hosted LiveSync to v0.23.23 and check the behaviour again. I hope that the latest version solves the issue.
I am going round and round in circles with this and getting close to ditching it (and possibly obsidian as a result).
I have two vaults - one is on desktop and one mobile device; the other is on desktop and two devices.
Syncing is through self-hosted couchdb.
I keep finding that one or more devices is not syncing. There are so many options to fix it, and that's part of the problem - rebuild remote db, rebuild local db, recreate local files, with it without local chunks, etc. I end up doing several of these for a vault at each end (especially because it is not clear exactly where the problem is). Eventually I get it working again - until next time. It's frustrating for me and completely untenable for the family. Surely it is possible to complete this and (I have raised this before) provide:
Another thing is that when I set Livesync, I find it sometimes resets itself to On Events.
Can you make this (a) more reliable (b) better feedback when there are issues and (c) more user-focused recovery options?
Really want to keep using this but can't if it does not improve.
