Insider Desktop 1.3.1 has broken text size in TagFolder sidebar(s) #71

Since updating to the latest Insider Desktop, the font in the TagFolder sidebar is now much larger than previously (I'd estimate now size 22), and disregards font sizing in settings.

Note:

  1. TagFolder seems to be the only affected plugin. All the other sidebars and plugins (both default and community) are unaffected
  2. The problem is consistent across multiple themes (including Default)
  3. Problem only started after updating to 1.3.1.
  4. Tested on MacOS 13.3

Update: TagFolder is not the only affected sidebar plugin. Now that I've tested more methodically, I can see other sidebar plugins also showing the wrong font size. So I assume this is a bug in the Insider Build rather than the TagFolder.

My Obsidian just updated to v1.3.3, and it has the same rending issue. Indents also appear to be broken in this side bar.

RobinLandy commented 1 year ago

It’s caused by a bug in Obsidian, not TagFolder. The latest Obsidian Insider build 1.3.4 fixes it.

Sorry for being late! I missed this! My Obsidian has been also broken today (Even though using a stable version). However, this means that it had got incompatibility potentially. Even if it has been roll-backed on 1.3.4, they might be planning to change the styles. I will release v 0.15.24 today; which has been adjusted to the CSS classes currently used by File Explorer on Obsidian 1.3.4.

This problem has been fixed at v0.15.24. Could you please check the appearance and behaviours?

P.S. If you know any good ways to make coexist Insider and Public, please let me know.

Everything is OK now, thanks! Insider builds are just a good way to see what is coming to Public in a short future - this is why we are reporting issues in Insider builds.

My Obsidian just updated to 1.34 and it's now fixed on my end as well :)
