The reading is hard to follow because the examples are not in sync with the book: which is more up to date? #8

I am trying follow the book with this repo but it is a little difficult seeming that the book is so much out of sync with the repo.

a question I have, besides can you address this in the near future, is simply which is newer - the book or the repo?

Now one might think that is a silly question but from what i read the book is supposed to be up to date.
