The programm is not working #3

The VSCO keys is not working on my mac. I just downloaded it and installed it on my mac. I try to open it, it shows for a second the icon on the menu bar, then disappears and is not working at all. Does anybody knows what's happening? Regards

Hm, that is not as-intended, of course. I do know that you need to uninstall VSCO Keys before installing the open-sourced Keys download. Did you do that?

I didn't installed open source keys anyway... Tried and uninstalled 2 times the program and again but nothing.

Same here. Did not uninstall before installing the new version. Since the new version didn't work, I uninstalled everything including preference files and reinstalled. Same thing is happening. I did notice that the lrplugin file is still showing version 1.0.7. Is that what it should be? I thought this was 2.0.

Mine was working until I tried to install the open-source 2.0. Now can't get either to work. Flashes an authentication dialog when I start LR, type in password and launch of VSCOkeys silently fails.

I guess it's time time to retrain my muscle memory.

Hey guys, i ahve the same problem. Wants authentification but then afterwards the shortcut on the top right doesnt show up. I look in LR and it says the plugin is installed but wlel, nothing of the shortcuts work...

OK, problem fixed. This is what I did: I'm using a Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan version 10.11.4. Lightroom CC.

Completely uninstall VSCO Keys from Lightroom.

  1. Open Lightroom, File -> Plug-in Manager...
  2. Remove VSCO Keys
  3. Open Finder, go to Applications, open vscokeys folder, double click "uninstall" to uninstall VSCO Keys

Install VSCO Keys

  1. Go to VSCO Keys download page click here, click "DOWNLOAD FOR MAC" to download the newest installation file
  2. Close Lightroom before installation
  3. Open the installation file and follow the instruction to install VSCO Keys
  4. Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy
  5. Go to Privacy tab -> Accessibility
  6. Make sure VSCOKeys is checked under "Allow the apps below to control your computer."
  7. Open Lightroom, File -> Plug-in Manager...
  8. Click "Add", in the pop-up window navigate to Applications -> vscokeys
  9. Select "VSCOKeys.lrplugin" and click "Add Plug-in"
  10. Now the VSCOKeys icon is displayed at the top bar.
