In Windows serve, IE has some tight security, it does not allow any web sight to open normally.
I had some how bring the IE security to lowest level in windows server. Now its working fine
You may try to open www1.nesindia.com from IE in server. If it open , it shuld work in python too.

It is working fine with a different net connection, but not the one I was using while developing the project. I feel the code is right but cannot support a lot of requests simultaneously. My error was connection error, my connection was forcibly shut. I am still not sure about this though. It is again working perfectly with the different network connection.
Do you mean ,it's issue with ISP and not with code or NSE ?

I know that is a vague deduction of mine. It is now again up working fine with both the connections. I am not sure why this is happening, maybe there could be a load on backend (NSE website) at that time. I will probably be using caching in my project jo that only a single call is made per minute or so.
Did you tried any third party API as well for different connection as well?

Hi, I just used the library to fetch data nse.get_quote() . However, it just waits for a response and stays there infinitely long time. Any help?
I have deployed the code in a digitalocean server. When I tried without updating, it bounced with "Moved Permanently" error. It was in a "while True" loop. Is this because, I am facing an IP block from NSE? Please enlighten me on this. Thank you so much.
