Hey @MaaikeOosterling - wow this is so old (I think I created it over 10 years ago?) I'm no longer associated with Duke, but what I'd first do is find someone at BIAC to answer this question - is readmr replaced with something else, and if yes, what is it? Do you think you'd be able to find someone and ping them on this issue and we can continue discussion?
Hey!
Yeah, it's been quite some time haha, but you were still the first thing to pop up when Googling 'SPM coverage'. I might have another solution, offered by someone who has worked with my data before, but I'd still like to see if I can fix this for project in the future, too.
I'll get on contacting BIAC and will let you know! Thanks for replying!
Thank you so kindly! Yes it would be great if we can restore life into this script - it mostly seems like a deprecation issue. I'm definitely open to changes and seeing how I can help if it might be useful to you! Thank you for looking into it!
Hey Vanessa!
After encountering some coverage issues in my SPM group-level analysis, I encountered this script to check subject by subject who is causing the problems.
However, I can't get the script to work. I already had to convert my nii files to img/hdr, as nii doesn't seem to be supported by the BIAC tools, but even after that, I keep getting errors.
The last error message in MATLAB read:
This is leading me to believe that the readmr function in the BIAC toolset is no longer working and thus the cov_check also cannot run. A Google search led me to believe that the BIAC tools also haven't been updated since Matlab2014, and I am currently using the 2017b release.
I might be missing something obvious, I'm only a MSc student doing this as an internship project, but if this script truly isn't usable anymore, it might be good to save potential future users the effort!
Kind regards, Maaike
