Currently the "Help us improve" button works okay, but the response rate is very low and only gives negative written feedback. A better UI would be to ask: "Do you plan on taking this trip?" 👍 or 👎 or maybe 😄 or 😒

Positives are of course helpful.

Then if somebody hits the negative, we can ask them why and have the previous feedback comment + email space. When they hit the negative we should record the data and we have a decent amount of information about the user. If they also write negative feedback will we get even more info. If they leave their email we can respond.

This data will either help us QA the tripplanner or help future planning with better data about trips they liked and also trips they didn't like.

The Happy / Sad face, Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, shouldn't be caucasian-centric.
