Hello there. I tried using the markdown syntax that represents an erased text section using the ~~ syntax. The html output could not be rendered.

Hi, the dependency I use for Markdown follows the syntax from Daring Fireball and the extra syntax from Michel Fortin. I don't have any control on that. I looked on their documentation, and I didn't found any reference to the erased text.
