Hi, I'm sorry I cannot see any log attached. You have to use github web interface to attach files (attachments to emails are removed by github). Alternatively you could upload the file somewhere on the web (e.g. dropbox, etc.) where I could download the file from. thanks, - deimi

Please install 'newtx' package within miktex-console/packages. You can enable 'on-the-fly' installation of missing packages within settings as well.

Please install 'newtx' package within miktex-console/packages. You can enable 'on-the-fly' installation of missing packages within settings as well.

miktex-makepk is invoked when pdflatex cannot find some fonts. It tries to create PK (bitmap) fonts from metafont source (*.mf). You should not see miktex-makepk if fonts (in this case type1 fonts) are installed. If you see miktex-makepk in your log file it means you have missing packages.

In your previous log file you had:

miktex-ttf2pk.exe --miktex-enable-installer --miktex-disable-maintenance --miktex-disable-diagnose -q -t ntx-Regular-tlf-t1

which means it tried to make PK font for ntx-Regular-tlf-t1 font. After you had installed the 'newtx' package, the message has gone. The tricky part is to find the right package to install. Therefore the best option is to set on ' install on-the-fly missing package' feature.

In your current log file you have:

miktex-makepk --enable-installer --verbose ec-qhvb 594 600 0+594/600

which tries to make PK font for ec-qhvb . I'm not sure which package include this font.

On my system I have packages installed (automatically):

I managed to solve it !

The missing package was tex-gyre please add to dependencies

Then in the MikTex Admin console one must execute

initexmf --admin --mkmaps initexmf --admin --update-fndb
