gsm shield problem #27

when i turn on my gsm shield status and NET light blink for a few second then 
gsm shield turn off and its keep repeating....?

You need an ext power source: 12V 1A

Your power supply system must give up to 2A current to the SIM module! In 
addition, place a capacitor at least of 1000uF*10V (or more) near with the SIM 
module.

Thank you for the specifics.
However the shield is provided with a capacitor, so a power supply 12V 1A is 
enough.
