Removed from chrome store for containing malware #139

Is this legit, or is this just google doing google things because they're losing revenue due to this

I was surprised to see a browser pop up that said TrackMeNot was somehow malware after I Brave auto-updated itself. This happened 10 minutes ago for me. I hope the TMN team can issue a tweet statement about this.

Brave blocked it, but it is still working on Firefox.

I've had this extension running for over ten years with no problem, now suddenly it's malware? How can I override Chrome's blocking of this?

i'd like to weigh in that as @cirtbrethren notes, there have been no sudden changes to the codebase, and Google has a history of blocking these kind of projects as malware (like AdNauseum, made by some of the same researchers)
