We're not treating this as a bug because this functionality never worked this way. We are happy to treat it as an enhancement request.
I know Thieves' pickpocket for example gets a negative modifier for targets level 5+, but since that's something I would expect the referee to input (or more easily, apply after the roll), I wouldn't choose to use the normal modifier dialog here.
Is there a different skill/ability in the rules that uses modifiers? Why are you looking for a modifier here?
I understand that the most obvious answer would be "why not?", but it would help us create something for this
The Ranger (& Dolmenwood Hunter) tracking ability has a base chance per level and up to 6 modifiers to the percentage. Acrobat tightrope walking has modifiers for wind, etc... Assassin has modifiers for disguise, though that is pretty small. I didn't see any others but am not 100% sure.
I am running a game with a Ranger tracking a werewolf in a snowy environment so it is coming up often.
What happened?
Rolling an ability from the abilities tab does not open the situational modifier dialog the way that weapon attacks (items) currently do.
What is the expected behaviour?
