Since this project has not been updated since 2012, you may want to try this new fork: https://github.com/jcrodriguez1989/renv-installer.

Thanks for letting me know. Renv still works fine for me, so I haven't felt the need to update it. The Renv-build plugin has been updated regularly with new definitions whenever new versions of R come out.
