What is the motivation for adding / enhancing this feature?

We need detailed description of actions, getters, helpers & state of catalog core's module with example use cases.

What are the acceptance criteria

Order from the easiest to the hardest:

[ ] Stock (shape of state, actions, mutations)
[ ] Tax (shape of state, actions, getters)
[ ] Attributes (shape of state, actions, getters)
[ ] Helpers (each from core/modules/catalog/helpers)
[ ] Category (shape of state, actions, getters, mutations)
[ ] Product (shape of state, actions, getters, mutations)
