Program exits upon loading a ROM

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start program
2. Load ROM
3. Get booted to Android home screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a game load; instead I see my home screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version as of 11/28/11; on Android 2.3.4 (LG Optimus Q)

I too have this issue and it's on my LG Optimus One or LG P500 to be exact. A 
solution to the issue would be helpful thanks.

I use an LG Optimus One with Android 2.2.1.
When I start it up, it shows the SNESDroid menu, but when I select a ROM 
(zipped or raw .smc), it closes automatically.
I have tested it with 3 roms with give me the same problem.  They were 
Earthbound, Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy V.

On my lg it closes everytime I load a rom plz fix really would like to have

Same issue for the Samsung Galaxy Prevail. Android 2.0 OS. Load a rom then app 
closes and home screen is returned to.
