Button onclick open lightbox at first item? #232

Sorry if there is a better place to ask this... but is there a way to open the lightbox on the first item from a button elsewhere on a page? Basically the same function as clicking the first thumbnail on the tile theme. api.enterFullscreen() does not have the desired outcome.
