I personally haven't found a workflow where maintaining a Unreleased section in the changelog is beneficial and hardly ever see it used in the wild. It does however complicate linting the changelog, so unless someone objects, I want to remove it in the next major. That consists of removing all relevant code. Effectively hallmark lint will bark if it encounters an Unreleased header.
