Release Installer Flagged as Virus #261

Just downloaded the release and my antivirus flagged it. Hard to imagine there's actually a virus but I have to admit I'm jumpy in the wake of xzutils and so on 😄

Any comments about this from the developers?

Its core functionality, the way it redirects DLLs loaded during initialization of the process, might be detected by heuristics as virus like functionality.
