As in the title of the issue, it would be really convenient to create a note and link it inline in the current note. (or maybe such option existst but I didnt learnt about it)

vyleung commented 2 years ago

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe this can be accomplished using the slash command (check out the demo)

@danieltomasz just wanted to follow up - if the above isn't what you meant, can you provide an example/workflow of what this feature would look like?

I am making note in one paper, then some reference ideas came out, this is a fragment of my notes, I quite often reference other papers

- [[Aperiodic offset]] is correlate with neuronal population spiking and blood-oxygen-level-dependent signal from function MRI
    - [[Berezutskaya et al. (2022) Open multimodal iEEG-fMRI dataset from naturalistic stimulation with a short audiovisual film]] could be used to check the relationship between the [[Aperiodic offset]] and [[fMRI signal]]
    - #reference to [[Winawer et al. 2013 Asynchronous Broadband Signals Are the Principal Source of the BOLD Response in Human Visual Cortex]] and [[Hermes et al. 2017 Neuronal synchrony and the relation between the blood-oxygen-level dependent response and the local field potential]] #followup

Indeed this is possible using slash command; sorry I didnt reacted to your comment It could be augmented with creating hotkey for inline adding Zotero item (currently the window open only after 5 keystrokes /log + enter

Maybe this is not necessary because of slash workaround and you have other priorities but having a separate command with hotkey is quite common, for example many obsidian plugins have it, and the new Citations in Logseq have separate command too
