Simple Summary

Security? :heavy_check_mark: Readability? :heavy_check_mark: Catchy moniker for Vyper Devs? :x:

Abstract

How exactly does one address a gathering of Vyper developers?

Motivation

Specification

Gather a list of words which are candidates for the proper term used to refer to a person who codes with Vyper. It cannot be dynamic, so an upper bound must be established. I propose 2**256-1 or maybe 10. I'll seed the list with a few:

Backwards Compatibility

Completely breaking change. This new and all-encompassing term will just not function with the names currently employed. As a matter of fact, any use of deprecated monikers will result in an unavoidable number of brow-beatings, puns, gifs and rolled eyes. You have been warned.

Dependencies

Humor. Wit. Words.

Additional decision: deploy a mainnet contract that allows you to stake against a specific name (of shortlisted), stake gets split between the winning name (Bonus: use a bonding curve of sorts).
