Crashes on Windows 8.1 #26

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch between Default Output devices
2. Audioswitch crashes
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.42 and 2.0 RC2

I can confirm that this will occur with my set up as well

Winbdows 8.1

Realtek audio driver

For me it crashes at seemingly random times.

Also using Windows 8.1 but with the HDMI audio from my Radeon HD7970 and 
Corsair Vengance 1500 USB headset.
