Option to limit or remove the "started debugging this browser" notifications would be nice, becomes quite annoying and distracting when viewing webpages.

To suppress this, you can use --silent-debugger-extension-api argument for chrome

But this is not a solution for me. I would like to use this extension without interference like this.
