Interesting -- if I view the page via 'http://reddit.com' instead of the
https:// version, the crash goes away.
This is the last thing to show in the console before the crash on the SSL
version of the page:
The page at
'https://pay.reddit.com/r/nottheonion/comments/2b7gol/new_san_francisco_billboar
d_warns_workers_theyll/' was loaded over HTTPS, but displayed insecure content
from
'http://pando.com/2014/07/17/new-san-francisco-billboard-warns-workers-theyll-be
-replaced-by-ipads-if-they-demand-a-fair-wage/': this content should also be
loaded over HTTPS.

I've reproduced this so far on both Windows and Linux versions of Chrome. Don't
have the Windows version number handy at the moment, but the Linux Chrome
version is 37.0.2062.20 beta (64-bit).

Fresh example since the previous repro no longer works (the source article
vanished):
https://pay.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/2d3vss/hand_swallowing_cars_and_traffic
_100/
Hover over video thumbnail and the tab crashes.
