Issue Description

Hello, everything works great while in desktop or using discord/steam. however if I try to use the program while playing any game it has insane lag, the voice just cuts or most the time nothing comes out at all. I am talking like 10-15 secs delay with choppy voices. i have tried increasing the chunk and giving the program higher priority, none worked.

Do you have the same results with the version v1.5.3.18a? Are you using the CUDA version or the standard version? RVC is a very resource intensive software. Depending on how much resources a game needs from the GPU, this one can be overwhelmed by the amount of work and make RVC stutter or get a very increased delay to process the voice. Which game are you trying to play?

hello thank you for the quick reply, i have tried overwatch 2 and valorant thus far and both had the same issue of insane delay. i am using the cuda version. i will try to download a older version and see if its any different.

At how many fps do you play those games?

i play them both at 144fps 4k i tried 2.0.61 and that works in games! i had to set the chunk to 96000 (2secs) and extra to 240000 (5secs) so there is a noticeable delay but i am glad at least it works. not sure why it wasnt working on the newer one as i am sure i tried those numbers there too. thank you, have a nice day.

Well, trying to play at 4K 144fps surely will get a hit in RVC as your gpu is not strong enough to keep with both.
