Issue Description

I had an old version of the program, but something happened and the application stopped working normally. I tried to reinstall the application and now I get this error

as far as i can tell, the people this happens to means their cpu is unsupported for beatrice, but it seems to be a forced check so going to v15 instead works, if its not a force check and you do find out how to fix it comment what you did
