Not detecting root #198

I have rooted using magisk, it says I don't have root even though I'm using multiple root applications. This is on the pixel 2 XL (taimen).

This also affects me. (Although a different root method) Here is that reference word or whatever.

Settings > Custom Su path and change it to sbin/su

I've tried that, it doesn't work, maybe it needs to be fixed because as far as I know it doesn't work for Magisk.

Typing in /sbin/su worked, I was typing in sbin/su/, thank you :)

The spoof still doesn't work, I've granted to superuser rights and it doesn't give me an error but none of the spoofs work.
