Not Working on MacBook Pro early 2011 with OS 10.12.1 #56

Hi! First of all I would say thanks to you for the great work you've done. I always wanted to change my boot logo, and few years ago I discovered Bootx changer, for some (unknown) reasons, it did not work on my MacBook Pro early 2011. I tried on another mac, and it worked well. Problem was, nobody was behind this software anymore, so I gave up. Few months ago, I discovered your app, and I became excited again! Someone who's taking the job back! but after installing your app, nothing works. I checked all the issues by other users, and I finally managed to install the black screen with the white apple, using this post: https://github.com/dabrain13/DarkBoot-NVRAM but what I really want to do is change the boot logo. And I cannot. I can change the backround color if I modify the .plist file myself, but your app does not make any effect, every time I close and open it, everything comes back to the first state. so if I could help or do any terminal report that can be useful for you, I'll be more than happy. Cheers, keep the good work!

Ok, so, I figured out where the Bootlogo.png was, and how I have to modify the com.apple.boot.plist myself (cause the app don't do it). but here the issue: I can see the boot logo only if I press 'alt' and choose the Hard drive. otherwise, it won't show up, only the background color will work (almost) every time. This trouble was already there with bootx few years ago, it was and it's still the main issue.

So, to make it work, I installed rEFInd boot loader, with the automatic boot on mac (and some custom configurations), using this way, my custom logo shows up every time without pressing a key. I think this problem concern only few mac from 2011, as it was mentioned by the bootx's creator few years ago ( can't find this post today though).
