I had a left over dock instllation from cDock c3.x that refused to be customized underv4.x.
I went through a bit of hell removing all of cDock 3.x.
Once everything was removed, my Mac booted into the standard Mac OS dock. No vestige of cDock left.
Reinstalled cDock 4.5.0 from scratch and purchased a 4.x license, even though I had purchased a 3.x license in summer of 2020. Turned off SIP following instructions, turned off library validation per instructions.
cDock doesn't crash, but it also doesn't do ANYTHING either. No themes, no cosmetic changes whatsoever, no badges, no reflections, no dimming, just plain NOTHING. Just a transparent background and some nice sharp edged icons.
I have done days of troubleshooting. Created a new admin user, so no third party add-ons. As vanilla an Apple set-up as possible. Made no difference. I don't really want to do a Mac OS reinstall to fix what is most likely a cDock bug.
cDOCK 4.5.0 does not work. Am I alone in having issues with this software?
