Hello @w1ld3r

Would you help me with this error? please

I can't build the docker image

What could it be?

w1ld3r commented 3 years ago

Hello @rd-mg , gonna take a look this weekend if I have time.

w1ld3r commented 3 years ago

Can you give more detail about the OS you are using and Docker version ?

rd-mg commented 3 years ago

Hello @w1ld3r

sure

In my local machine:

NAME="Manjaro Linux" ID=manjaro ID_LIKE=arch BUILD_ID=rolling PRETTY_NAME="Manjaro Linux" ANSI_COLOR="32;1;24;144;200" HOME_URL="https://manjaro.org/" DOCUMENTATION_URL="https://wiki.manjaro.org/" SUPPORT_URL="https://manjaro.org/" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.manjaro.org/" LOGO=manjarolinux

Docker version 20.10.7, build f0df35096d docker-compose version 1.29.2, build unknown

In the remote server

NAME="Ubuntu" VERSION="20.04.2 LTS (Focal Fossa)" ID=ubuntu ID_LIKE=debian PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS" VERSION_ID="20.04" HOME_URL="https://www.ubuntu.com/" SUPPORT_URL="https://help.ubuntu.com/" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/" PRIVACY_POLICY_URL="https://www.ubuntu.com/legal/terms-and-policies/privacy-policy" VERSION_CODENAME=focal UBUNTU_CODENAME=focal

Can you change the OS of your remote server to a Centos 8 Stream or Debian ?

rd-mg commented 3 years ago

I will try this in a VM in my local with these Distributions and I will comment you then

Thanks

Hello @w1ld3r

These are the results

1) Centos stream in virtualbox: IT WORKED ! 2) Debian 10.10 in virtualbox: IT WORKED! 3) Manjaro in local after general update and pip update: IT WORKED!

4) Debian 8.8, 10.9 and Centos 8 in remote server (VPS): IT DIDN´T WORK! ta-lib couldn't compile and related issues

Errors shown:

Centos: gcc: fatal error: Killed signal terminated program cc1 compilation terminated. (like above)

Debian: Not enough virtual memory available

I won't continue trying to get the reason of this bug in order to start using this repo, that's more important I think

Thanks you again!

So finally you are using which distribution ? For a server I recommend Centos 8 Stream.

rd-mg commented 3 years ago

I use debian in my server

Noice, I think we can close the issue cause it's a ta-lib requirement issue.

rd-mg commented 3 years ago

I think so

Thanks
