The data model section is empty, which I don't think is a good look. This PR removes it for the CG final draft of the spec, with the expectation that it is added back and actually completed at a future date.
ALTERNATIVE PR: https://github.com/w3c-ccg/did-spec/pull/257 which fills out the section minimally. Only use this PR if the contents of that one are going to be controversial.
