this is perfectly on-theme and not tangential. I think it's a good idea for us to explore how these mappings fit in with this effort.
Oh good. I probably have footprints on a hard drive.
Oh interesting, LMF stuff:

I recall replicating this demo (IKS Content Enhancement Demo - Screencast 2): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waP6-yy3iqc
I recall seeing something like this too with Apache Stanbol: SRDC - Semantic Management of Health Related Data with Apache Stanbol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7n6aRFcn1U
I believe category theory could be helpful for interoperability among data and types, the abstract data model talked about at IIW for CBOR, JSON, JSON-LD perhaps with Evan Patternson's paper because it is a guide to model knowledge and logic in a formal way, but I fear it is water cooler talk as momentum may be in a different direction and it is a bit of work for me to understand. Anyway, here is a pointer to water cooler, coffee maker, and snack room in the web-cats community group: https://gitlab.com/web-cats/CG/-/issues/22
Where is the place for curious comments (perhaps tangential) that everyone can see, but it is not awkward?
When I was looking at a related link:
https://app.welibrary.io/s/curators/m7rgf7r2tCwM3CwsQ/mapping-tool (t3 innovation network iirc)
I thought about the Linked Media Framework and Apache Stanbol (nlp semantic web tagger): Some related links: https://marmotta.apache.org/ , https://stanbol.apache.org/ , one of the maintainers https://twitter.com/wikier
For what it is worth, I have Marmotta running in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLqvnFRiP24 Marmotta is based on the Linked Data Platform Standard (which is close to SoLiD iirc).
I do not have a video of Stanbol in use. It can be used with Drupal or as a stand alone that can run in the shell (iirc).
