New Top Level Domains don't work #115

Open mobass11 opened 9 years ago

Hello, just wanted to let you know that when I type in my website (http://happyness.life) I get the following error message:

error while resolving http://happyness.life check the spelling of the host, the protocol (http, https) and ensure that the page is accessible from the public internet.

I also tried some other TLDs (http://germanshepherd.guide) and got the same error message.

Thanks for your help!

The canonical list of valid TLDs is available at http://data.iana.org/TLD/tlds-alpha-by-domain.txt

Thanks! Actually this problem come from https://github.com/w3c/insafe . I linked your issue there: https://github.com/w3c/insafe/issues/8 .

(Sorry, I should not have referenced this issue from w3c/specberus#266; merging that PR will not solve the issue in Mobile-Checker…)

Removing myself. Either this is addressed globally in Insafe, or every package using insafe take care of adding 406 as an accepted code.
