Essentially, a quoted graph records of the occurrence of an RDF graph

I see two problems in this sentence:

• "records" where? Maybe change to "is a record"
• "of the occurrence" doesn't parse for me.
  • "is a record of the occurrence" does parse, but is this exactly what you mean?

The next phrase:

— i.e., a quoting or citing of the graph.

is very informal, but I am ok with it (can understand it).
