More Cleanup #79

Remove mention of @true and @false, except to note that they have been removed.
Formulas => Formulae, and clean up definitions.
Use x (or |x|) when describing variables instead of x (or x).
More cleanup, and an ednote on the confusion of multiple similar terms.
Add reference to the repo home page from the README.

Did we land on using "formulae" (it seem to remember it being "formulas")? Not a problem for me either way. (regrettably the meeting notes don't say .. what a terrible scribe!)

We did. There was no specific intention to change from the original “formulae”, and decided that we should keep,with the original spelling.

Apologies - the commits seemed to meet their respective goals so I merged it.

Next time I will leave it open for at least a day before merging.

Sorry @TallTed, there's always room for "more more cleanup", and I'm sure you'll find stuff that was outside of the range of things I touched on.

Anyway, you're diligent focus on the grammar is really helpful.
