Hey 👋 it was great to be part of the breakout session at TPAC today.

Here are some of the resources I mentioned:

• Community Management - handling bad actors
• The GitHub Community Guideline

Other pro tips:

• Have an issue & a PR template
• Use the thumbs down emoji as a response to negative behaviour
  • There is a script that then calculates the number of these by user, as a way to see community members impact
• Have a bot that auto-responds to things, such as CoC violations, welcomes new contributors etc.
  • Probot can help with this.

I'd be happy to chat to y'all about this or help out in developing stuff like best practices for w3c repositories. ✨
