Reported by peasthope on 2 Dec 2010 17:34 UTC Folk,

http://validator.w3.org/ states "This validator checks the markup validity of Web documents in HTML, XHTML, SMIL, MathML, etc."

What is meant by "etc."? I'm interested to validate an SVG document but validator documentation does not mention SVG. The scope of validation should be specified explicitly.

Thanks, ... Peter E. peasthope at shaw.ca

Comment by tgambet on 2 Dec 2010 19:42 UTC Hi Peter,

At http://validator.w3.org/ click on "More Options" and notice the "Document Type" dropdown menu. You'll find all the doctypes you can validate against including SVG.
