REDbot updates #159

Reported by mnot on 2 Sep 2011 11:49 UTC Hi,

I've made a few changes to REDbot recently that have impact upon the Unicorn integration:

I don't think any of these are huge issues, but I don't have much visibility into unicorn, so it's probably best for it to be done by someone more familiar with it.

I pinged Hiro about this a while ago, but didn't hear anything back.

Also, red integration doesn't seem to be available from the W3C instance. If it isn't a feature that you're planning to use, perhaps it would be best if I removed the unicorn code from my repository?

Thanks,

Ping. Some more rewrites, I'm pretty sure it really isn't working now. Should I remove Unicorn from my repo, or should we update it?

I've removed the unicorn directory from REDbot; it was definitely not working.

If you want to re-integrate it, I'd suggest you just install the redbot package and write a local interface, instantiating the appropriate object(s) -- probably HttpResource -- as needed.
