Address David Booth's issue with diagram #11

In his e-mail to the list

At the beginning of section 4, I like the diagram, but I do not understand the "sense" arrow and do not see why it is needed at all. AFAICT, there are two things being differentiated: the profile document versus TimBL (the person) -- not three. So to my mind, the "sense" arrow only adds confusion. Also, I do not understand the purpose of the stick-figure on the profile document. There is no stick figure in the profile document, so I do not understand why the diagram shows one on it. The diagram also shows a foaf:made link coming from the stick figure and pointing to the bottom of the profile card. I don't understand what that is intended to mean, but TimBL's profile card does not even contain a foaf:made link, so that seems to be a mistake.

I wrote an updated diagram for that that I used in my 2nd year PhD report I need to find and improve to fit these comments.

Unfortunately the link supplied is no longer online (for me). From archive.org I was able to find: https://web.archive.org/web/20221031140956/https://co-operating.systems/2019/04/01/PhD_second_year_report.pdf

Page 56 gives the following diagram:

I'm unsure how to take that and address this issue. Perhaps consider closing unless anyone has an idea what is needed to update the diagram.

Note: Henry distinguishes "WebID" from "Profile URL", which might be helpful for other things.

I have to say, I find this diagram rather confusing:

  1. IMHO, denotes doesn't mean refers to, and even more so given that referring and referencing have very specific meanings in this context.
  2. IMHO, sense doesn't mean meaning and saying that a WebID means a set of statements doesn't make sense.
  3. The red describes arrow points from something within the document to TimBL but it's the document itself that describes TimBL.

I'll try to make one from scratch and propose it to the group, making sure to use the terminology from the spec (i.e. using Agent instead of an example of an agent in the form of TimBL's picture).

Just an experiment in trying to address what I personally find confusing in the current diagram:

This shares my world view. The left is the Web -> Document The right is the ID -> Agent The Document -> documents -> Agent
