Thanks to @mbeganyi for mentioning this. The last para of the "intent" section of https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/identify-input-purpose.html mentions the "Personalization Semantics Content Module" and also happens to link to the Editor's Draft that no longer exists (at https://w3c.github.io/personalization-semantics/content/). We'll need to file this on the WCAG repo, but before we do, we should discuss exactly what we think the remedy may be.

@matatk @lwolberg I was about to create a new issue in the WCAG GitHub repo and realized we need to discuss this further as a group. The paragraph specifically mentions autocomplete and I'm not finding a good reference. Also, as I was looking in the WAI-Adapt Explainer current usage I found links to adapt-action, adapt-destination, adapt-purpose, but they all link to the Symbols module.

An issue 3315 has been open in the WCAG 2.2 GitHub repo to address the original issue in the WCAG 1.3.5 Understanding document and it includes the issue with incorrect formatting for the code snippets. Also a new issue #244 has been open for the WAI-Adapt Explainer and Requirements for WAI-Adapt Specification pages.
