Math and Chemistry Notation for Adlam and other African writing systems #22

Is there a place for including mathematical and chemistry typesetting standards under the language requirements forums? I have been speaking with Ibrahima Barry about publishing standards for math and chemistry typesetting in Adlam. Looking through various gap analysis reports in W3C, I have not seen a section pertaining specifically to math. I have also looked at the MathML issues on Github and I don't see postings related to math for non-Latin writing systems.

Thanks.

hi @NeilSureshPatel. We could accommodate these topics – we don't mention them currently because they don't crop up often, and require some expertise to address. Btw, there is a document about Arabic mathematical typography at https://www.w3.org/TR/2006/NOTE-arabic-math-20060131/ which may be useful for comparison. We don't have information about any other mathematical/chemical approaches as far as i know. We can certainly fit in any relevant information in our gap-analysis documents as gaps are revealed, but those items describe gaps. We could however also document Adlam requirements in a WG Note. Do you have any ideas about how much information you'd be likely to create?

Thanks @r12a. I will consult with Ibrahima and determine what the full extent of the information that he would like to create. The Arabic mathematical typography document is really helpful thanks. A good amount of it may apply for Adlam.
