Each of our "horizontal" areas -- accessibility, internationalization, privacy, and security -- have evolved practices for facilitating collaboration between the review experts and the WGs authoring specs to achieve timely reviews of W3C specifications before they become Candidate Recommendations.
With most W3C specification development work migrating to github, identifying a common set of practices and tool use for these reviews should help all concerned to track the status of specifications to assure that reviews are conducted when needed and with efficiency.
