White-space and stretching #96

3.6.3 Justification with Word Bounded Wordspace and Punctuation http://w3c.github.io/elreq/#justification_with_word_bounded_wordspace

in this section, 'white-space' is used (i think) to mean both characters such as spaces and gaps in the 'ink'. Since 'white-space' is usually used the former way, perhaps we could use 'blank space' or 'gaps' to describe the latter. Otherwise, it's a little confusing as to whether stretching is applied only where there are white-space characters or not.
