CFC: Advance ARIA in HTML to Proposed Recommendation (PR) #348

This is a Call For Consensus (CFC) to advance the ARIA in HTML Candidate Draft to Proposed Recommendation.

The Candidate Draft has only editorial changes from the Candidate Snapshot of 6 July.

An implementation report is available, documenting at least two independent implementations for every feature.

If you support this proposal, add a "thumbs up" reaction to this comment.

If you do not support this proposal, add a "thumbs down" reaction to this comment, and post a comment with your reasons.

If you're OK with your support for the proposal being assumed, you do not need to respond at all. It's much better if you do respond though, so please take a minute to do it.

This CFC closes at the end of your day on Thursday 16 September 2021.

With thanks to everyone who responded, and with multiple expressions of support and no objections, this CFC passes.

We'll set things in motion to transition ARIA in HTML to PR.
