Volunteers could make time in their schedule for "Open office hours" (see current draft) to talk with people from under-represented groups about participating at the W3C.

Thinking we should take our lead from successful mentorship programs such as Global Diversity CFP Day. That could be a good template to follow. Run a (virtual) workshop for people from under-represented groups about "how to get started in being active in standards."
