Interesting, same issue with github/pages status expected and waiting. I would think it should be finished by now.

Does the service have a problem? Seems like no: GitHub Status is showing no issues. I had an issue with GitHub pages last week during a GitHub Pages incident, and it fixed itself when that issue got resolved, so it's worth checking.
