I've seen (on channel #w3c on Freenode) some complaints about the archives making the life of spammers easier.
I'm sure this has been discussed in the past, and most likely there is a good reason to display all addresses in the clear — but for the record and for discussion: do we want to obfuscate addresses somehow?
