We have seen clauses that allow "temporary access to data" at a "disaster recovery site" without attracting additional fees, which I think would translate into ODRL clauses excluding a particular location from reporting units of count if the location was only used for disaster recovery purposes (which implies a need for that Purpose).
We would tend to treat "business continuity" and "disaster recovery" as synonyms. We aren't aware of anyone making a distinction here.
If I use a permission to use data in my business continuity environment, what am I doing? (See IAtD-8.)
Am I now running my business from there - or am I merely testing/maintaining its readiness?
If the later, we can capture this with a suitably defined business continuity purpose.
Finally, can we assume that for our purposes that business continuity and disaster recovery are synonyms?
