eMail thread flattener #51

i find Dom's thread flattener immensely useful when dealing with issues in email threads. See eg. http://services.w3.org/xslt?xmlfile=http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2015Mar/0144.html&xslfile=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2010%2F03%2Fml20.xsl not only is it useful for reading the thread (particularly when you need to get a good overview of the discussion), but it's very handy for linking to it when you want to send others there.

Could we please provide a fully-supported tool of this kind?

Have we considered maybe using Google groups for this purpose? I know both Google and Mozilla engineers mirror their email lists there, making them much easier to view and respond to.

E.g., the following two are the same, but different interfaces: https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-platform https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/mozilla.dev.platform
